I was recently introduced to Rainmeter and really love it. I decided to combine skins from different suites and tweaked them into a single suite. Hope you like it as this is my first attempt
Additional Applications: Below is the list of applications that are needed to ensure that all components of the skin work properly. Do note that if any application is not installed, the skin will have missing data but will not cause any issues or system instabilities.
Core Temp ([link]) MSI Afterburner ([link]) for Nvidia/AMD GPUs SpeedFan ([link]) On Windows 8, select compatibility for Windows 7 for installation ([link])
Instructions: Manual tweaking for some of the skins are required due to the unique configuration of each system. Please note that I have marked those sections clearly and provided instructions where necessary. For further information, please read the easy-to-understand Rainmeter guide ([link]). I might be able to provide some help if possible, however, Google seems to know the answer to almost all questions if asked nicely
Skins Available: Below is the list of available skins
Application - 10 customizable shortcuts - Left click central orb to hide/show shortcuts - Middle click central orb to load/unload skins layout NOTE: Once you have loaded all the required skins, you must save the new layout with the name "Blue Overview" which will overwrite the default layout (which has the same name) and you will have your desktop layout permanently saved [link]

This skin is awesome! However, I'm having an issue with the GPU reader part. It reads everything fine, except it refuses to read GPU Temp, PCB Temp, shader, and Usage. It also tells me my card has 0 MB memory, when I know for a fact it has 1024 MB (it's two HIS Radeon HD 6670's in crossfire mode, yes I know not that good but it's what I was able to afford and still works great). How can I resolve all of this?
If you have installed the latest version of MSI Afterburner, and that doesn't resolve your issue, try this: Memory -> You will have to manually edit that skin with the total VRAM. It is on line 64 where you change the value of MaxValue PCB Temp -> I initially made this skin on GTX 260 (Hehe, talk about old) so when I tried it with GTX 675M, it didn't show. I did some searching and found out that nor all GPUs report the PCB Temp so you don't have to worry about that. Shader -> Since I created this on a Nvidia GPU, I included the Shader. That isn't available for ATI/AMD GPUs so you don't have to worry about it. GPU Temp & Usage should work. Are those values shown in MSI Afterburner? If yes, than are they also showing in About Rainmeter: Right-click Rainmeter icon in notification tray -> Click "Open log" -> Select "Skin" tab -> Select "Blue Overview\GPU" in the left Panel see what values are being displayed in the right panel.
Can you please be more specific? To download the Rainmeter Theme that I made (Blue Overview), there is Download File on the right side and you can download the 1.2MB file and install it using Rainmeter. The other needed applications are mentioned in the Additional Applications and you can easily download and install them.
I am using the Rainmeter plugin -> [link] to get the overall CPU Usage. It works for multiple Cores (Intel and AMD). I am not sure if it works over multiple processors, i.e. 2, 4, 8 physical processors which requires server motherboards and are very costly.
Umm... since I am busy, the quickest solution for you that I can suggest if you only want the date and day is as follows:
Go to the Rainmeter directory and navigate to the Time folder (C:\Users\PantherX\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Blue Overview\Time) where you can see Zone 1 and Zone 2 folder. You can copy the folder, one for each new Time Zone and make sure that you change the folder name to Zone 3, Zone 4, etc and also the .ini file in that folder to match the folder structure, Time Zone 3.ini, Time Zone 4.ini, etc
Then refresh the skin by the Manage Rainmeter and expand the Blue Overview folder on the left panel and then expand the Time folder and you will see the additional Zone 3, Zone 4, etc that you created. Expand Zone 3 and then select Time Zone 3.ini and on the right, select Edit and in the text editor, under the variables, you can add the UTC/GMT offset and save the file. You can then load the skin and you can have that Zone's Time and day.
Hopefully, this is something that will will find useful
